Welcome to Challenged Survival

Pull up a chair and sit a spell while we talk about family, learn how to grow, harvest, butcher and prepare most of our food grown and raised here on our homestead. There may even be a rant or two about how stupid our government grows with each passing day.

We don't know what tomorrow will bring so we are preparing as much as possible for whatever life throws at us.

If you like what you see join our blog and we'd love for you to leave a comment.

About Me

My photo
Mamma Bear
I am a wife, Mom and Grandma working alongside Papa Bear to become self sufficient. We live on 10 acres of sandy land in Northwest Florida. We raise goats and chickens, trying to meet some of our dairy, meat and egg needs. Papa Bear and I take care of our son who was severely injured 18 years ago by a drunk driver while on active duty in the Marine Corps.
