Grandma....You didn't blog us!

so here it is....during the 5 or so weeks I couldn't log onto my blog, my kids and grand kids from Texas came for a two week visit.  My son was on a 3 month leave from his job in Afghanistan.

The kids as usual had a great time with the critters.  Grand daughter loved the fact we had 11 baby goats to love on and play with.

Cooling off in the pool

Roasting marshmallows

Grilling Bulgogi from a venison roast

Sparklers at night

Who else but Grandma would give you a bar of soap and let you shower in the rain?

Lunch at the Marines favorite place "Pineapple Willy's:"

It has a great deck over the beach

A trip to Gulf World Marine Park

To watch the dolphins

and the sea lions

The Marine thought he was pretty cool to get special seating to see the shows.  I thought it was pretty cool because I got a chair beside him and didn't have to sit in the bleachers

Do I need to start this show?

We petted the stingrays

and the desert tortoise

We fed him at Pineapple Willy's

There were beautiful birds perched everywhere

Make a totem pole face

4 of my grand kids and my great niece

a busy day and all tuckered out

What a beautiful family.  The house was so empty when they went back to Texas.  I miss them so much my heart aches

  5. kymber...you are too sweet. Don't you want to move to the woods in Florida?...LOL I love my family and we took a bazillion pictures while they were here. I just didn't want to post so many that I bored all of you!

I don't feel that old until I look in the mirror and then I scare myself....LOL Papa Bear was just far enough away when he snapped the picture not to show all the lines and wrinkles!
