Left the hospital and came home to settle the Marine in. Papa Bear was very tired so I went back to town to fill prescriptions and get some takeout for supper. Two hours to fill 3 prescriptions at Walmart. grumble, grumble, grumble. Walmart is a necessary evil at times.
Thanks again everyone for your prayers and get well wishes!. As soon as I get caught up on things I'll be commenting and catching up on the blogs.
You folks are simply great and I can't thank you enough!
Welcome home. Relax and I am so glad it didn't turn out to be a long term hospital stay.
ReplyDeleteThanks Preppy...very short stay. Now back to our regular scheduled programing!...LOL

ReplyDeleteThank you Rachel...We felt all of the love and prayers!
DeleteThis is the best news I have read all day. I thank God for His mercy and answer to prayers.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you are home! Walmart sucks for most things anyway, but at least you now have needed meds. Still continuing prayers for a swift recovery.

DeleteMamma - we haven't had our internet for the past day due to some heavy wind and storms. thank goodness we didn't lose power but we were ready for it. i kept calling the internet people for updates as to when we would get our internet service back. i called 3 times and the same guy answered each time. he was very helpful so finally after calling the 3rd time, i explained that i had to check up on The Marine!!! i explained the situation to him. his name is bobby and he sends his love and prayers to The Marine as well. he was in the canadian forces for 8yrs, he was an airborne jumper and was injured. he left the forces and came back home here to cape breton island and now works for our internet company. he said he would put out a call to the linemen who were fixing our tower and tell them to get it done for The Marine!!! one hour later and our internet is back. it sure is amazing how much stuff you can get done when you mention "The Marine" - bahahahaha!
ReplyDeletei am so glad that you are all back home! we are always sending our love and prayers to you all. make sure to get some rest ok?
your friend,
kymber
Too funny kymber!...I am glad mentioning the Marine got your internet back on!... LOL
DeleteWe are so very glad to be home and if you get the opportunity to speak with Bobby again, tell him thank you for his service and thank you from the Marine and family for his love and prayers.
Mamma - i will actually call back and ask for bobby and pass on your thanks from The Marine and his family - i am sure that he will very much appreciate it! thank you Mamma!
DeleteMamma Bear,
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see the Marine back at home, he must be happy to be in his home and his own bed. You just never get any rest while staying in a hospital.
Sending hugs and love to the Marine, you and Papa Bear. Now go get some rest!!!
Thank you for the hugs and love Sandy...hospitals are horrible. If I could get IV antibiotics to store here at home, there would be no need to go.
DeleteWe are taking turns on catching up with rest. I feel almost human this morning!
Home. What a beautiful word. I assume you have plenty of pillows.
